11 Healthy Breakfasts You Can Make Ahead

On the first day of the year, I shared my goals for 2015. One of them involved spending some more time on myself, taking care of myself along with everyone else in my family.

Often in the hustle and bustle of the day, I’m not as diligent with getting things ready and prepped for myself because by the time I’m done doing everything for everyone else, it’s time to go. And that usually includes breakfast. But no more excuses. Along with everyone else, I am also going to eat a good and healthy breakfast in the morning, even if it means preparing it the day or night before. So, I’ve created list of 11 Healthy Breakfasts You Can Make Ahead.

  1. Yummy! These are great breakfast ideas and tasty, too. I recently attended a vegan cooking class. I was surprised just how good everything tasted, considering it was all gluten-free, dairy-free, and sugar-free. Whatever sweetener was in the food was naturally occurring. I just wish I had more time to cook these dishes.

  2. All I can say is yum. I mainly have porridge for breakfast, today I had eggs, not very exciting. I have made a pact with myself to eat better and to try new recipes. This is a very timely post for me. Chia is really versatile and I use it a lot.

  3. OMG what can I say… Ugghh.. I am drooling over each and everyone of your 11 suggestions. OMG and for number 7 looks totally yummy!

But I totally agree that setting serious goals like to help eating right and balance is a huge must. This is one of my biggest problems too. But like you shared, even if we prepare the breakfast the night before, at least it’s done so when the morning comes, it’s no stress or worries about eating especially for moms like yourself and I that are always on the go!

Thanks again for sharing, I LOVE THIS!!!

  4. Easy breakfast ideas that are also delicious. No cook oats have been a staple for me growing up as a child in Jamaica. You just soak your oats in water, add milk to sweeten and we were good to go. As I grew older, adding fruits and a pinch or cinnamon or raisins to it became normal, but I have never seen it or had it with yogurt, so I will be trying this variation.

  5. I’m noticing a theme: this winter it’s bananas, this past summer it was watermelon. Seems like you are good at picking out a fruit each season and then coming up with yummy recipes that one can make with that fruit. Is that intentional, or just how your muse strikes you?
