Another week and another 3 Things Thursday. It’s hard to believe that we are already at number 75! It has been a fun and busy week, the reason being that it is back to school! I can’t believe that the summer is over and school has started up. In honour of that, this week’s #3ThingsThursday is dedicated to everything back-to-school related.

1. The First Day of School
After Labour Day, marked backed to school here for us. I will be writing a post about how the first week went but of course I had to share a photo of these two cuties. Love the excitement of the first day, especially for Kyah!

2. DIY Shoes 
Last year, Keyan needed inside shoes for his classroom, so this year we decided to put a special touch to his inside shoes. We found a plain white pair of slip-ons. Then Keyan grabbed a bunch of fabric markers and got creative. Here are the results:

3. Preserving Artwork
When Keyan started preschool two years ago, he came home with sooo much art work. As great as it was, we ran out of places to display it. So last year we came up with a great way to store all of their artwork and projects every year! It’s simple and it’s a fun activity for the kids. You can find the details here.
