  2. So funny that I ate about 3 of these Lindt candies today at work. Man, they are good. I have to try this recipe. I love plain shortbread cookies, simple and sweet. Now add a dab of chocolate and it’s tops in my book. I like that the recipe makes enough to take to a holiday event and snack on while baking! (tee hee)

    1. I indulged in a bit of the chocolate before making the cookies too and the chocolate is so good! And if you already love shortbread, adding this chocolate will totally take it to the next level!

  3. You had me at Lindt! It’s chocolate is AMAZING, especially the Lindt Lindor Truffles. These cookies are absolutely going on my holiday baking list this year, thanks for the great recipe!

  4. Hi Salma,

I usually bake peanut butter cookies for the Christmas season, but the daughter is more likely to bake during the holidays. I can’t stand on my feet as long as I used to, so she picks up the slack.

She baked quite a bit for Thanksgiving making a pineapple nut roll, apple pie, and chewy sugar cookies. I was so glad to have her help!

  5. Oh my! These look scrumptious! Can’t go wrong combining two awesome flavors like these! I’ll have to see if the recipe works with gluten-free flour. Thanks for sharing!

  6. Shortbread cookies AND Lindt chocolate – there’s a little piece of heaven right there! Although I doubt the chocolate would survive long enough to make it into cookies 🙂 Great recipe Salma, thanks for sharing!
