Superman and the Zoo

This week, for the first time in a long while, we didn’t make it to the library for some reason, but we still did lots of reading.

Kyah rediscovered one of her favorite books, ‘Dear Zoo’ by Rod Campbell.

This is a great book for so many reasons and the first one being that it’s a Lift-the-Flap book, which both of my kids love. It is also simple yet entertaining and educational. We got it as a gift and that’s how we found it. If your little one hasn’t had a chance to read it, I definitely recommend it.

And this week, Keyan couldn’t get enough of his Superman Ultimate Sticker Book.

It has a 1000 reusable stickers, but what’s so great is that each page is a different part of Superman’s life.  You read about it and then find the right stickers for that page. If you have a super hero lover in your house, this is a must-have. Reading and stickers in one book!

What books are your kids loving this week?

  1. My son loves the 5 Little Monkey’s series and he loves anything by Dr. Seuss. My husband and i are both avid readers and thankfully my son also loves it. I guess he kind of forced to considering I’ve been reading to him since “in utero”

    1. The kids love Dr. Seuss too but we haven’t read the 5 Little Monkey’s series, so we’ll have to check it out. It’s so great to see when kids love books, especially our own kids lol.
