10 Ways to Use Overripe Bananas

Is it just me or does everyone else also end up with a couple of random, overripe bananas that no one wants to eat? One solution I’ve found is to peel the banana, break it in half, place it in a container and put it in the freezer until the next time you need them for baking. You could also put the overripe bananas to work right away and try one of these delicious recipes that the whole family will love whether it’s for breakfast or a healthy snack.

  1. Salma,

I definitely like #3 but actually all of them are awesome ideas. I have thrown away overripe bananas before but after this list I won’t do that again 🙂 Thanks for sharing.

  2. I love bananas so much, but they don’t love me. Ah, for some wonderful banana bread with chocolate and peanut butter chips! I did follow your Watermelon board on Pinterest – a fruit that a small family just can’t eat fast enough. Thank you for making my stomach rumble at 6:21 AM!

  3. I love overripe bananas! I started buying extra bananas just so they’d go brown and I could use them to bake. 🙂 My hubby looked at me as if I was crazy. 🙂 Thanks for all these great ideas!
