5 Kid Friendly New Years Eve Party Ideas For Kids

Before becoming a parent, I remember how we use to plan going out for New Years Eve. It was a rush trying to find a place where a group of friends could all go and have fun, not pay hundreds of dollars and figure out transportation. Yes it was fun at the time, but now as a parent, I like that NYE is a little more low key. Maybe it’s dinner out with some friends, or maybe it’s a party at home with the kids. If you are looking for kid friendly New Year’s Eve ideas, here are 5 party ideas that every one will enjoy!

  1. These ideas are great. This year we’re going to a quiz night at our church, but most years it’s been a night of watching movies as a family. It’s been a long time since I’ve had/been to a big party or been out for New Year’s Eve.

  2. I love the idea of a craft party! I will have all 4 of my kids home with me this year for new years, ranging in ages from 2 to 20 and I think this would be a great idea. Even my older ones will like helping the younger one. Could be a great family project.

  3. Early count down! That’s been us for the past few years and it’s great! The kids feel they are a part of something special and once they’re in bed, the hubs and I can cozy up on the couch with a movie! These are all great ideas – we’ll definitely try them out in the years to come!
Happy New Year to your family, Salma!

  4. Happy New Year to you and your family! Thank you so much for sharing the Netflix count down – we did that with 3-year old Nephew and he loved it! Can’t wait for your posts in 2015 they are so inspiring.
