6 Exercises with Sliders

It’s easy to get comfortable with your exercise routine, whether it’s the same classes you go to each week or the same strength training sessions you rotate through. It’s great that you’re getting your exercise and movement in. However, it’s also good to change things up in your workouts every once in a while. That’s because your body adapts and gets used to your regular routine and it’s not challenging anymore. One simple way to do that is by adding exercises with sliders.

6 Exercises to try with Sliders

Sliders are two small pieces of equipment, you can even throw them in your purse and they are great for changing your routine or to make it more challenging. Heck, if you don’t want to buy sliders, you can even try using paper towels or cloth napkins instead.

Exercises with sliders challenge your core and take exercises like mountain climbers, lateral lunges, burpees and plank jacks to another level, in a good way!

If you want to try it out, I’m sharing a short video for 6 exercises with sliders that you can try at home, at the gym or even when you’re traveling.

Add some of these exercises with sliders individually in your regular routine or as a circuit! If you’re going to try a circuit, put your interval timer on for 6 sets, 30-45 seconds for each set. Try the circuit 3 times, resting for 1-2 minutes between each set.
