My 6-year old had been asking to put our tree up since September. So on the first weekend in December, we brought it out and put it up. It was a lot of fun!
The best part is going through and looking at all the ornaments and hanging them up. Most of our ornaments are handmade, either at home or at school. And they have a lot of great memories attached to them.
This year we are going to make a few more. The kids and I did a little search on Pinterest and found some that we really liked and that were totally doable at home.
Here are 6 Homemade Ornaments to Make With Your Kids.
1. Fingerprint Heart Ornaments
These lovely handmade ornaments with a heart in the centre are not only simple to make, but would also make a gift that is truly from the heart.
2. Salt Dough Ornaments
These ornaments are so simple yet you get to be very creative in what you want to make and how you decorate them .
