I just completed week one of our #ClosetShuffle Challenge. This is where you put together a different outfit from your closet everyday for 30 days. It’s a good way to wear clothes from your closet that don’t normally get out, purge what you don’t like and get your wardrobe organized for the new year. If you’re interested in joining in or learning more, here’s my original post Using Your Wardrobe.
Here are the first 7 outfits I wore. Every other day I tried to include pieces that haven’t made it out of my closet in quite a long time.
So far the challenge has been great! I wore a few things that have been collecting dust in my closet and I liked how they looked. I am also going to add a few things to the donation pile like the white shirt on day three and the very cute but uncomfortable loafers on day seven. I’m up in the air about the super heroes shirt I wore on day 4 because I feel like its a little too short but still, it’s super heroes. Also, i’m not sure if I should keep or purge the necklace in Day 7.
I’d love to hear your opinions on what you do and don’t like or if I should donate or keep. Also, if you want to participate, just jump on in and start posting your outfit each day with the hashtag #closetshuffle. The more the merrier.
If you want to follow along or get the details of where I bought each outfit, follow me on Instagram where I post daily. When you search the hashtag, you’ll also find some fabulous bloggers and moms participating in the challenge as well. It’s a great way o put together new outfits and get your closet organized in time for the new year!.
