Romantic Comedies You Need to Watch Together

Whenever the hubby and I decide to have a movie night, much to his chagrin, I always suggest a romantic comedies. I can’t help it, I love them! And what’s not to love, you get some romance and some laughs, add a bowl of popcorn and it’s a pretty awesome evening.

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, if you’re going to be at home, why not watch a great romantic comedy! If you have Netflix it’s even easier to just pick a movie (or two,) curl up with your honey and have an enjoyable evening.

Here are some great romantic comedies that you can find and enjoy on Netflix. They are also some of my favorites:

If you want a good romantic comedy, you can usually get a win with Hugh Grant. Love Actually is no exception. This is one of my all time favourite movies and you can’t go wrong if you pick it to watch on Valentine’s Day.

  1. Even though I have seen them both a million times (or it feels that way at least), I think Dirty Dancing and Grease are near the top of my list.

  2. I like the notebook and A walk to Remember.
For Romantic comedies I think my recent favorite is actually a Korean drama. It’s called Modern Farmer. I laughed so much in that one.

Netflix has some Korean dramas – you might want to try Secret Garden, Roof Top Prince, or Boys Over Flowers.

  3. I do love romantic comedies! My fav of all time is ‘Princess Bride’ – maybe because I brought my 8 year old son and he reflected the actions of the little boy in the story – so it is precious to me –
Not seen Pitch Perfect – so will be looking for that 🙂

  4. I haven’t watched any kind of movie in a looooong time (unless Dora counts) so I can’t really remember. I do know that I liked the Princess Bride. Especially when the poison got all mixed up (hope I didn’t just ruin it…).

    Besos, Sarah
    Journeys of The Zoo

  5. Grease – I remember seeing this as a young person. My children are now old enough to watch it and they appreciate the music as much as I do.
