We LOVE smoothies in our house, especially at breakfast time. Our go-to recipe is usually a combination of some frozen fruit or berries, half a banana, milk, fruit yogurt and blend. There are so many different variations of this recipes that you never get bored because it tastes different every time. Recently, I discovered a new combination that I just couldn’t get enough of. It was super tasty, healthy and filling, a Mango Lime Breakfast Smoothie.
1/2 cup of coconut water
1 cup frozen mango chunks
1/2 a frozen (or fresh) banana
3/4 cup plain greek yogurt (lots of protein in this!)
2 tbsp of lime juice (or you can use two drops of lime essential oil)
1. Add the ingredients in the order they are listed above.
2. Then blend to your desired consistency. If you find it too thick, you can add some more coconut water or milk and blend again.
3. Then pour into a cup and enjoy this delicious, protein rich and filling breakfast smoothie.
